Rebuttal: Imran Khan – a Man with No Plan

Rebuttal: Imran Khan – a Man with No Plan

Like I started off in my last rebuttal, I will do the honors yet again!

“Thou art not a writer? Flay Imran and so shalt thou become a writer.”

May it be electronic media or print media; everyone is seen casting aspersions on Imran. They are jutting out the impression as if Imran were responsible for all the chaos in Pakistan. Willing-to-be-writers take up a pen and conjure up articles against Imran and PTI from the left-overs of the anti-PTI writings. I place my bet the roulette that they don’t have any inkling of what they write; tomfoolery of the highest degree!

Allegations were laid on Imran that he has no plan! May be respected Muhammad Ahmad Khalil is way too much impressed by the plans and foresight of Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif. One is siphoning off millions in the name of Benazir Income Support program whereas the other is embezzling millions in the name of loly-pop schemes! What they both share in common is ‘beguiling the people from the truth’. Amidst all, you’re criticizing Imran, a man who has at least tried to make a major policy departure even before coming into power!

Imran’s stances are not clear whether he is an Islamic Fundamentalist or a conservative Liberal! Well, firstly ‘Conservative Liberal’ is an instance of oxymoron. Secondly, they were people like you who once sullied his reputation by calling him a Zionist Agent and then moved completely out of phase and started calling him Talibaan Khan. You guys are not clear in your thoughts and yet you ask Imran about his school of thought – Pity! He has maintained his stance right from the day one and has always avowed that peace talks can be the only solution to the iniquity of terrorism.

Calling in questions the viability of his policies, one would like to question you that have you ever read PTI’s manifesto? No you haven’t. Your logic is driven by the words of your leaders, and you ride the same train of thought as they do. As a matter of fact your specious arguments happen to be a far cry from the ‘rationale’ i- e a word that you liked to own while chastising Imran’s political acumen!

This is a not a rare sight now! All guns are pointed towards Imran and PTI. Since a serious threat has been posed to both the political oldies and they are under an existential danger so they are trying at their best to deal in ‘politics of calumny’. All actions of such strain will be of no use now! A monumental change is in sight. As of my dearest Muhammad Ahmad Khalil, is he really a man of thought? Isn’t he blinking the facts?

  • FACT

I agree with what you wrote and i am supported of PTI amongst all other corrupt political parties. But on other hand when i read article written by Mr. Khalil; i would say that is only a description of what actually is happening! Although that writer seems to be bent on corrupt parties but if we only see what Imran Khan is doing is nothing unfortunately!

Having good vision and manifesto is good but it’s not enough, a vision requires a mission to accomplish it and manifesto requires to be in power and to be in power positive actions are required which in politics can be said as “Movement” for change which is what Dr. Qadri is doing! Now, question is why Imran Khan is not taking part in that movement/long march? To me it seems Ego of Imran Khan and seems he want to do it under his leadership name which is a pity!

Imran Khan can shut mouths of those writing or saying against him by taking positive part in Dr. Qadri’s Movement and then we can hope for positive change in system to get rid of corrupt parties like PPP and PML-N. But it seems it’s Imran Khan’s ego that’s stopping him to take part in that movement.

He says he will held long march or oppose if there is any corruption in elections because he will held that gathering in HIS name but that will of no use as ruling party/parties won’t allow him to be oppose them!

IMRAN KHAN must take part in Dr. Qadri’s movement!

  • asif

agreed bro. and some people for people like these say ”“What kills a skunk is the publicity it gives itself”
i just wrote this because of the word ”Skunk’.

  • Mohammad Jamil

Talha, don’t waste your energy trying to tell the world about the baseless article written by Muhammad Ahmad Khalil, I m sure he was heavily paid by either Zardari or Nawaz league who are using public money for heavy expenditures in the upcoming election compaigns.

  • Muhammad usama Goher

do you remember the speech the of imran khan which he delieverd on 30 october 2011?????

civil disobedience movement after 3 months????
any big rally after the departure of Mr.shuja pasha???

  • Waleed

    Great Rebuttle! keep it up!

  • Munib

    Great Post Muhammad Talha :)

  • Sohaib

What the heck. I was expecting some serious rebuttal. Points taken from the targeted article and refuting them with logic, facts and figures. What I see is couple of lines with same reactionary rhetoric and generalizing the targeted writer with “You and Your Leaders” with pre conceived self formed notion of writer having sympathies with corrupt leaders. All you know is to react!!

    • Sohaib Khan

The rebuttal is just absolutely fine.. no point arguing with them… short and simple replies are just fine for the people who dont have brains to think and eyes to see… they dont seem to understand the logic and logic is not going to change their mind…the questions that the target article raised have already been answered by PTI/IK everywhere on every forum… they just keep coming up with the same questions every now and again

  • Umair

Right rebuttal for those underestimating the power of IMRAN KHAN, They deserve businessman like Nawaz & Zardari to remain their leaders.

  • junaid

Who is new writer and who wants to flaunt his English prowess is evident from your writing sir! Poor Khan! he has shallow supporters like you, but it reflects me upon your Khan as well.

  • asad Khan

Thank You Mr. Talha for at least condemning the foolish article which
have shocked the whole nation , i don’t know where is the concious of
these people , i guess Ahmed khalil wrote it just as a gift for Nawaz or
    zardari.

  • Junaid

Excellent Article & Excellent Answer by Muhammad Talha, Wow!!! We totally agree with this article, the man who has written “the Imran khan with no plan” is brainless person i think, who don’t know that IK is the first person who has disclosed his strategies before coming into power, in every talk show when IK is been asked for his plan, IK has disclosed his plans several times, that is the reason we people r going to vote PTI bcz of his sound professional strategies.

  • Asim

A very nice rebuttal I must say.

  • Mustafa

The Question is, what plan do you need for good
governance? Can there be a plan for appointing ppl on merit? can there
be a plan for “Not” to do corruption? Can there be a plan to enforce the
rule of law? You don’t need a plan to do these things, you just simply
do it! By not doing it yourself as a leader and one can only test a
leader by actually testing him. May be he is also corrupt, but we can’t
decide that yet. In fact, there is corruption everywhere in the world,
but unlike Pakistan. China is No.1 in corruption and India is probably
No.2, but look at them, they are also growing.

  • Bilal

    True that

  • Ali Imran

very brief and to the point article, its very simple to understand, if someone wants to do so … as a part of youth, we’d have to understand that if a person is letting us to watch true face of our chaoses and is willing to offer us with solutions, we should support them …

  • beta

Imran Khan zindabad, PTI is coming and all anti pti forces be ready because tabdeeli aa naheen rahee.. tabdeeli aa gayee hai!

  • thekk

truely said. At least there is someone in the media who can tell the truth. LIVE LONG IMRAN KHAN

  • http://www.facebook.com/Ruknani Ayub Ruknani

Bravo Talha.. Good response. “they are under an existential danger” LIKE THAT ;)

  • azeem abbas

Great Talha Great! Sharam karo Ahmed Khalil.. Laanat hay tum par!

  • Ali Awais Amin

Unconvincing rebuttal. Blame game is clearly not an impressive support for your argument.

  • Fizza Zubair

Well done Muhammad Talha!!!!! every anti PTI person like that writer deserve a slap from Pakistan. People dont have the ability to recognize real faces of corrupt leaders and start writing all that bullshit.

Real leader is definitely our Great Imran Khan!!!!!

  • imran

Hello I have voted once in my past for PMLN, and I was 18 then,
had very minimal understanding of our politician, saw everyone voting for PMLN
in Lahore, so I voted for PMLN as well. Since 1990 I haven’t seen any change
for betterment in Pakistan, PPP, PMLN, PMLQ and Army all have been in power but
no one has done anything good for people, since last 20 years we are worse off
instead of being better. Now when I have been to different places in world, I see
how far behind we are compared to rest of World. Who should we blame, people or
politicians, I guess both are equally responsible. There are thousands who
still support same PMLN, PPP other parties who have tried again and again and haven’t
done anything for people, yet people go in their gatherings and defend them
more than they would their own family. I decided not to vote again, but now I will
vote this time, Imran Khan/PTI forced me to trust them, and vote once more for
the wellbeing of Pakistan and people of Pakistan, the man looks honest, he hasn’t
been tried like others, he has done more for people than all in Government
collectively done, so why shouldn’t I trust him, but my trust in Imran Khan/PTI
is conditional, PTI will have to deliver, they will have to stand up and do
what they claim. A lot of people are saying Imran khan is one man, what one man
can do, all I can say is that’s true, Imran Khan is one, and will always be one
man, but his power is you people, you can make him the strongest or the weakest,
choice is yours, I really hope he inspires people to come and vote and then he
delivers, otherwise we will be fall deeper and deeper. Deep down inside me, I feel
and sense Imran Khan/PTI will not disappoint you, will do good for his people. May
Allah show us the right path and give us the ability to see the real faces of
people and give Pakistan the most honest leader not like past. Ameen

Lets get this straight plays his first test in England aged 18. Goes to Oxford University and earns a degree in POLITICS history and economics. Wins the word cup as Capt. in 92. Ends cricket career with over 350 wickets with an average of 22 and nearly 4000 runs with an average of 37. Opens the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hosptial in 94, which is
now one of the worlds premier cancer treatment and research centers.
NO PLAN INDEED, wake up and smell the coffee. The writer of the NO PLAN ARTICLE HAS NO CLUE.

  • Shahid Muhammad

Well Done Talha …. I was very disappointed from last article , When
you talk about planning , don’t go further just check the webpages of
PPP, PMLN and PTI , you will see who plans better , PPP & PMLN
webpages full of their leader picture and slogans , hollow slogan , they
even don’t know what are problems in Pakistan and check PTI Policy
documents and presentation …… We all know there is no perfect man
but this nation has first time a better Man (Imran Khan) , so we should
    not miss this option!!!

    Where is my comment???

  • Shakeel N

Great response Talha!! I would say ‘Imran Khan is the only man with plan’ when it comes to solving problem currently Pakistan is facing.

  • Ahmad Saeed

Great Talha…highly appreciate your effort to step up and give a lesson to moron like Ahmad Khalil!!!

  • faisal

“Thou art not a writer? Flay Imran and so shalt thou become a writer.”

Sir, you are too much of zealot for my liking. Your articles title gave me the false sense of hope that someone is going to explain something about IK’s political ideology and his policies but you ended up being another emotionally charged IK fan.

  • BOOTADEEN

Imran khan is nothing but a neo-con stooge who has the full support of his masters hence the attendance of the top echelons of neo-con intellectuals and policy makers such as Dr. Henry Kissinger and Wolfowitz at his marriage to Jemima daughter of another neo-con leader and financier the billionaire Sir James Goldsmith. Pakistan has great strategic importance as it is the only Islamic nuclear power with uranium enriching capabilities and also has the world’s largest uranium reserves in NWFP and neighboring Afghanistan. Pakistan is also located strategically sharing borders with Afghanistan China India and Iran. The neo-cons want to divide Pakistan into different entities so as to weaken it and thus make it easier to control; they have chosen Imran khan to achieve this objective. For which he has their full support, hence the stoking of the fire of various separatist movements throughout the country which are all pieces of a jigsaw coming together.

  • Khalid

    Excellent work, well done!

Imran Khan !! Bravo !! He took the right decision yesterday and protest with the hazara community, and also he won’t go in Qadri’s Long March.

Thumbs Up for Imran Khan !!

  • MOHAMMED SADIQ

Just conjectures and speculations. If your fantastic claims have any truth to them and he had all these big names hooting for him he would have won the elections ages ago. Now he is ready to lead us in the right direction, Imran Khan and PTI will win the election and will be the best thing to happen to Pakistan in a long time. Pakistan is no longer a two party country, but the party of all the people PTI who will serve our interests, PTI is our party and we will choose it the 1% will no longer decide the fate of the 99%.

  • MOHAMMED SADIQ

yes i will take my destiny into my own hands and vote for PTI&IMRAN ZINDABAD

  • Umer Mumtaz

you sir, write as well as my left foot!! with the socks on! PLEASE do not quit your day job, you know nothing of writing! Using fancy words in twisted manners does NOT make one a writer, or as you would have written it : ‘does NOT, one a writer make’! Utter bollocks! I do however agree with what Mr. Imran Khan is doing. But PLEASE stop trying to help him!! You are just making it worse!

  • http://www.facebook.com/qasim03 Qasim Khan

hv been told by my elders to choose a lesser evil of two evils. Although, I believe Imran khan is an honest man with a strong determination!
If one says he’s not right then I will ask who is right?
I will ask do you think Nawaz sharif can change Pakistan for good?
    or Zardari ?
I dont think any one with a bit of sanity and sound mind would ever say that zardari or Nawaz can or will do anything good for pakistan as we have seen their era or eraS.
I hope people will Vote the right person this time and Vote Imran khan this time.

  • Awais

    Excellent as always Mr. Talha.
