It was 15 years ago that Tom Cruise and his team completed their first mission for IMF – The Impossible Missions Force. Even after more than a decade and a half, the team continues to dazzle, shock and stun viewers around the world with their breathtaking stunts and missions.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol is being widely termed as the best movie released in the latter half of 2011. In fact it is one of the best movies to be churned out by Hollywood due to amazing stunts and an interesting story line. Ethan and his team are instructed to foil a madman named Hendricks (Michael Nyqvist), who wants to start a nuclear war. As always, the IMF team manages to save the world but not without their share of mayhem and deception.

The best part about this movie is that it maintains its explosive pace throughtout its entire run. It has everything the viewers might want in an MI movie … a terrorist bombing that destroys the Kremlin, stunts at Burj Khalifa as well as a sandstorm followed by a crazy car chase. As you can guess, Ethan Hunt and his team are blamed for the attack in Russia and the government then activates Ghost Protocol, disavowing the entire Impossible Mission Force. Hunt and his team then go out to clear their name and eventually succeed, but not before they save the world from what could have been the deadliest terrorist attack, ever.

And yes, there is a scene where Indian actor Anil Kapoor makes his presence, but disappoints in his role of a playboy billionaire. The scene that follows his exit is better in which there is a staggering fight scene inside a space-age parking garage where the fighters – including Hunt – dodge the moving steel platforms, and jump from one level to another.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol may be the first mission for director Brad Bird but it conforms to the needs of the viewers. Shot in locations in Moscow, Dubai and India, it presents Ethan Hunt as a mortal, rather than an invincible agent in other movies of the same franchise. As Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise steals the shows just as he had done in the past. In fact, the breath-taking Burj-Khalifa stunt can undoubtedly be termed as the best stunt to be performed in any movie from Hollywood. A must-watch movie if you want to be entertained!
